| 英文描述 | STRONGYLOIDES STERCORALIS (threadworm) nematodes can live as both a parasitic and a free living form. Infective larvae may penetrate the skin then migrate through the pulmonary system or be ingested and molt to the parthenogenic female form in the wall of the small intestine. Signs include both diarrhea and in some cases pulmonary disease. During migration the larvae can cause skin irritation and conjunctivitis. Dogs more frequently affected than cats. |
